Roxxem uses YouTube to play all music videos. If your school's network blocks YouTube, videos will not load on Roxxem.
Overview
This affects teachers and students on school Wi-Fi networks that restrict access to YouTube or Google services.
Cause
Roxxem embeds videos using the YouTube IFrame Player API. This requires your browser to reach several YouTube-owned domains. Many schools block these domains for content or bandwidth reasons.
Steps
- Contact your school's IT or technology department.
- Ask them to allow the following addresses on the school network:
- Once those domains are unblocked, reload Roxxem and try playing a video again.
- If unblocking YouTube is not possible, assign Roxxem videos for students to watch at home using their own internet connection.
