Teachers may have trouble starting a live game session from a mobile browser.
Overview
This affects teachers who tap the button to start a live game but nothing happens, or who see an error on a phone or tablet.
Cause
Live games use a real-time connection to Roxxem's servers. Some mobile browsers or restricted networks can interrupt this connection before the game fully launches.
Steps
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Reload the page and try starting the game again.
- Try using Chrome on your phone instead of Safari or another browser.
- If you are on school Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data to rule out a network restriction.
- Make sure your browser is up to date.
