Points you earn in a contest may take a moment to appear on the leaderboard. They may not appear at all if the game session was interrupted before it ended.
Overview
This affects teachers and students who complete a contest game but do not see their score on the contest leaderboard.
Cause
Contest points are submitted to the server at the end of a full game session. If the session was interrupted — for example, if the browser was closed early or the connection dropped — the score may not have been recorded.
Steps
- Wait a moment and refresh the leaderboard page. Score updates can take a short time to appear.
- Make sure you completed the full game session and saw the results screen before closing the browser.
- Check that you are logged in to the correct account.
- Verify that the contest is still active. Points only count while the contest is open and before its end date.
- If your score is still missing several minutes after completing the game, contact hi@roxxem.com.
