Playing a Live Lesson walks your whole class through a complete lesson together, in real time — from the opening slide to a detailed performance report at the end.
Steps
- Create or find a lesson from your Lessons library.
- Review what's inside — the vocab, video, lesson plan, and assessment questions.
- Check out the handouts available for the lesson, like the vocab list, crossword, slide content, exit tickets, and more.
- Preview the lesson before you play it live by clicking Preview.
- Click Start Live Session.
- Have your students join the session using the QR code.
- Click Start.
- Click through the slides and activities with your class — you can skip any you don't want to use.
- When you reach the end of the lesson, generate your detailed report to see how your students performed.
Printing and using lesson materials
Every lesson comes with handouts you can print and use alongside — or instead of — the live session, including vocab lists, crosswords, slide content, and exit tickets. Access these from the lesson before you start, and print whichever ones fit your class.
