Roxxem's video library is where everything starts — every game, lesson, and assignment is built from the content you'll find here.
What you'll find
The library spans five categories of authentic media:
- Music — our largest category
- TV — clips, shows, and dialogue
- Viral videos — trending clips students already recognize
- Podcasts
- News
Every piece of content includes a synchronized transcript, translations, and per-word detail, so you always know exactly what's being said. Content is also labeled with a maturity rating (G, PG, PG-13, or R) so you know what's appropriate for your students before you assign it.
How to browse
Use the Discover page to search and filter across all content types — videos, playlists, vocab lists, question lists, and lessons — by language, category, or keyword.
Clicking into a video
Once you click into any piece of content, you get access to everything attached to it:
- The full transcript, with a translation toggle
- Vocabulary and per-word detail
- All four games — Whac-A-Word, Vocab Harvest, Quiz Ninja, and Sentence Snake
- Options to add it to a lesson, assign it to a class, or share it as a self-study link
This is the jumping-off point for everything else on Roxxem — whichever way you want to use a piece of content, it starts with clicking in.
