What are seasons?

How Roxxem seasons work: a fresh start for everyone, what resets, what you keep, and the season leaderboard.

Overview

A season is a stretch of the school year with a fresh start. When a new season begins, every player goes back to level 1 and climbs again: every level earns a skill point, every skill point unlocks or ranks up a power, and new power slots open as you go.

See the current season, its dates, its contests and its leaderboard on the Season page: app.roxxem.com/season.

Why seasons?

Seasons give everyone a fresh start, and they make levelling up fun again. A new player and someone who has played for years start each season in the same place.

What resets and what you keep

When a season starts, your XP and level go back to the start. You keep your:

  • Passion
  • Avatars and backgrounds
  • Achievements and contest history

What else carries over can change from one season to the next. The Season page always says what the current season resets.

The season leaderboard

Every season has its own leaderboard, ranking everyone by the XP they earn that season. Find it on the Season page. It updates every 30 minutes.

How fast can I level up again?

Fast. Your first game earns your first skill point, and most players reach level 5, and a third power slot, within their first few games. See How do skill points and the skill tree work?

The current season

Season 1 runs from October 12, 2026 to February 19, 2027. Season 2 starts with the March Madness tournament.

FAQ

Are there prizes?

Prizes and achievements for a season are announced on the Season page.

I made my account after the season started. Did I miss anything?

No. You started at level 1 like everyone else, and everything you earn counts toward the season.

Do I need an account to take part?

You can play without one, but your XP, level and skill tree live on your account. Sign up free to save your progress. The games you played on that device before signing up are added to your new account.
