Overview
Roxxem Live is a real-time multiplayer game that teachers run during class. All students play simultaneously on their own devices while a live leaderboard updates in real time.
For teachers: running a live game
1. Go to Videos, search and select a song.
2. Choose a game type — options include Whac-a-Word, Vocab Harvest, Sentence Snake, and more.
3. Once the game loads, you'll see two options: Play Live Game and Play Solo. Select Play Live Game.
4. Set up your game.
5. A screen will appear with a code or QR code for students to scan.
6. Students go to roxxem.com/live and enter the code to join.
7. Once everyone is in, start the game and have fun!
For students: joining a live game
- Head to roxxem.com/live on your device — or just scan the QR code your teacher is showing!
- Punch in the class code and you're in.
- Create a cool name and chill in the lobby while everyone joins up.
- When the game kicks off, it's go time — your score updates live for all to see!
- Survive to the end and claim your spot on the leaderboard. Who's taking the top? 🏆

What devices can students use?
Students can join on any device with a supported browser — smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Can students join after the game has started?
Students can join during the countdown period. Once the game is active, late joiners may not be able to participate in the current round.
