Overview
Quiz Ninja tests your knowledge of the song, its artist, and its vocabulary through multiple-choice questions. It is a great way to review everything you have learned about a song.
How to play
- Select a song, then choose Quiz Ninja from the game options.
- Choose your mode:
- Solo (for individual play)
- Live Game (for classroom/teacher-led sessions)
- Select your mode to play:
- Video Mode: Watch the video and answer questions at key moments throughout the song.
- Question Only: Jump straight into comprehension questions without video playback.
- Questions appear one at a time, each with four answer choices.
- Select the answer you think is correct.
- Earn points for correct answers. Build a streak to gain bonus points.
- The game ends after a set number of questions. Your final score and accuracy will be displayed.
Question types
- Vocabulary: What does this word mean?
- Lyric comprehension: What does this line say or mean?
- Fill in the blank: Which word completes this lyric?
- Song background: Who is the artist? What year was this released?
- Listening: Which lyric matches the audio you just heard?
Difficulty
Harder difficulty levels use more similar answer choices and include more complex questions. See Adjust Game Difficulty to change the level.
Powers
Quiz Ninja has unique powers like Fifty-Fifty, All or Nothing, Precognition, Bushido, and Critical Strike (shared with Whac-A-Word), plus shared powers like Inner Fire and Resurrection. In Live games, additional player and teacher powers are available.
