Overview
The skill tree is where your powers live. It's one tree for every Roxxem game: learn a power once and you can use it in every game it works in. For every power and what it does, see What game powers are available.
Earning skill points
- Every level you gain earns 1 skill point. Your first level-up (level 2) comes in your first game or two.
- Some contests award extra skill points.
Spending skill points
- Open Powers in the menu, or go to app.roxxem.com/powers.
- Find a power you can learn. A power is ready when your level has reached its tier (tier 1 at level 1, tier 2 at level 2, tier 3 at level 4, tier 4 at level 8, tier 5 at level 12) and you own one of the powers listed under "Requires".
- Select Learn · 1 SP to learn it, or Rank up · 1 SP to make one you own stronger. Most powers go up to rank 5.
If a button is greyed out, it tells you why: your level is too low, you need a prerequisite, or you have no skill points left.
Equip slots
- You choose which powers to bring into a game before it starts.
- You can equip 2 powers at level 1, 3 from level 5 and 4 from level 12.
- Tier 5 powers are ultimates: only one can be equipped at a time.
Without an account
You play with each game's starter power at rank 1, with 2 slots. Sign up free to earn skill points and unlock the tree. The games you played on that device are added to your new account.
FAQ
Can I take a skill point back?
Not yet: skill points you spend stay spent.
Can other people see my tree?
Yes, on your public profile's Powers tab. They can look but not change anything.
Did Season 1 take away my skill points?
No. Season 1 reset XP and levels only. Your skill points were kept.
